For fiesta days they have what they call a fish rodeo for the kids. They make this huge pool of water and dump trout in it, then the kids get a bag and try to catch a fish. They can win money if they catch a certain kind of trout. Kade and Jordan did it this year, Kade had a fun time trying, Jordan on the other hand was excited, until it came time to go in and do it. Unfortunately neither on caught a winning fish.

And poor Jordan was scared to death to get in the water, luckily grandpa was helping with the committee and was able to be in there with him.
And here is Jordy's fish, we were lucky to get him to even hold the bag for the picture, he didn't really care for the fish.
He wanted nothing to do with his fish.
Lauryn on the other hand, couldn't get enough of the fish, she kept grabbing the bag and squeezing it, the poor fishy. She reminded us of the little red headed girl on Finding Nemo, she would get so mad when we would take the bag away from her.
But she did like giving the fish kisses!!

oooh, yucky Lauryn, don't kiss fishies! Isaac would have been just like Jordan too. Looks like buckets of fun!
after seeing that picture of Lauryn kissing the fish, Isaac said, "we don't kiss fishes, we only kiss babies."
Sounds like you guys have been having a busy few days!! I think Ryan would have been all talk about the fish thing too.....he gets so excited about stuff sometimes, but then freaks out when it comes time to actually do it!
I would have freaked out about the fish thing . . . I love that last picture of Lauryn.
