Yet another episode from Lauryn!!

Well, it has been a little while since I have had one of her fun mischeivious moments. Yesterday I was a little fed up with all the kids and the arguing, so I sent them all to their room to have a little quiet time. I think Kade read, Jordan ended up falling asleep, and this is what Lauryn did....She had gotten the lotion from her dresser, and it was ALL over! On her rug, on her pillow, on her floor, on her clothes. She said that her dog and her care bear needed to have some lotion. So they were covered in lotion as well. At least they will smell good for quite awhile!
She was a little upset when we got mad at her for getting into the lotion. She does a pretty good sad face. Gotta love ya Lauryn.

6 WONDERFUL YEARS!!

Today is our anniversary. I can not believe that it has been six years since we were married. I am so grateful for these past six years and the joy they have brought into my life. We have gone from an apartment in Orem, to our first home, and now to our second home. We have three wonderful kids that we are so proud of and an eternity to look forward to. I am so grateful for my wonderful husband. He is such a great man, husband and father, I wouldn't trade him for the world. Thank you for all your hard work Tyler to provide everything you can for our family. We all appreciate what you do for us. We love you.
Here are a few pictures of our wedding and earlier photos...

We were married in the Manti Temple.

This was when we were first dating.
For our anniversary Friday night we went with Brent and Holly to dinner and then to the play "Little Women" at the Hale Center Theatre. This kids slept at my parents house and then Saturday we headed up to Park City. We got us a day pass and went on the alpine slide, the zip line, and the alpine coaster. This was the first time I had ever been up there to do these things, and for those of you that have never been, it was so much fun! The zip line was great, it is about 1/2 mile long! And the alpine coaster was awesome. It's like a roller coaster, but you are in your own little car and it takes you to the top of the mountain and then you fly down it through the trees super fast. We loved it. We went on that one 10 times!
This is on our way up on the lift, it was such a nice relaxing ride up in the mountains. Here is Tyler in his little roller coaster car.

Here is a shot of how high up you go, it takes you all the way up to the top of those trees.

We went together a few times and you go tons faster when there are two people!! We were flying.

Those people in the zip line aren't us, but Tyler got a good picture of what is was like.

Thanks for such a fun day Tyler!! I love you.

Fourth of July Weekend...

We went down to Fillmore and Meadow for the Fourth of July Weekend. Fillmore has lots of things going on, so we went down Thursday and the kids were in the childrens parade with their bikes. They gave them a stamp before and then after they each got a hot dog, a bag of chips, a drink, and a root beer float. I'd say that's a little better than a popsicle that most childrens parades give! Then we just went back to Tyler's sister Kim's house and hung out there. Around midnight or one the "big boys", which are Tyler, Nate, and Paul took the four wheelers out for a little rabbit hunting and didn't seem to make it home until 6:00 in the morning. Friday we got up and headed to the parade. It was a little slow moving, but they throw lots and lots of candy and popsicles. After the parade we headed to the park and got some lunch and relaxed a little. Then we headed back to Kims and Tyler and Lauryn took a much needed nap. Tyler's lasted a little longer than Lauryn's did. We had a great dinner that night and then headed back up to Fillmore to watch the fireworks. They have some of the best fireworks down there that we have ever seen. They last a long time and are very pretty. The final one was like an umbrella coming down over us, we literally had pieces of firework falling on us, and they had a little grass fire behind us, but some quick thinkers got it taken care of before it got out of control. We were all pretty tired when we got back. Saturday we had a big breakfast and then Paul got called to go on a rescue up on the mountain where a four wheeler rolled, so Tyler went with him to do that. We were going to go repelling, but the wind picked up a little too much. That night we put a sheet up on the house and watched a movie out on the tramp with Tyler's projector. The kids loved that. We came home Sunday and relaxed the rest of the day. We had such a fun time down there with our family. Thanks Kim for letting us crash your house. The kids all dressed in their red white and blue.

The gang at the parade.

These guys do a funny little skit in the parade each year.

Having fun in the pool.

And probably Jordan's favorite part was getting to sleep on the tramp with his dad! Lauryn and I slept out there Saturday night but only lasted about half the night.

Stawberry Days

I know I know it has been a really long time since I have posted anything. I don't know where the time went!! But we have been having lots of fun with family and friends, so I will try and keep the updates coming the next few days. Here are some pictures from back in June when it was Strawberry Days in Pleasant Grove. This is like our little family reunion with Tyler's family. We started the day with the parade. The kids love this part of the day, it's fun for them to see all the fun things and catch candy!
Here is our beatiful niece Cassie. I had to catch her off gaurd to get her picture.
Here is Daddy's little love bug!!
Three divas, Nikki, Lauryn, and Halli...
And three macho men, Bryton, Mitchell, and Jordan.
If that face doesn't say, "leave me alone, I'm tired!" I don't know what does.

And last but not least, who can forget the kids favorite thing of the day, the annual pirate treasure hunt that grandma T. always does such a great job at getting ready.
Opening the box of treasures...
Giving everyone their prizes, grandma went a little overboard like usual, but the kids sure don't mind.
And here are all the cousins.
Thanks to Grandma T. for always putting on a great party, we had such a great time.
