Just thought I would post a few random pictures I've taken lately.
Here is lauryn doing who knows what, growling at me I guess. We braided her hair the night before so that when we took them out it would be "crunchy" as she says. Here's a cute smile..
We have been trying to get Kade's science project done the past couple weeks. I think it is finally finished, which is good since it is due friday! Here is a picture of him doing his experiment which was powering a light bulb with lemons! Interesting huh, it really works! Here is the Valentine box Kade made for school last week. The theme for fifth grade was I love America/States.
And this is mom trying to be creative with dinner and liven up a grilled cheese sandwich by cutting them into shapes!

Update...
Just thought I'd give a little update on us. Our newest excitement is that we sold our van and got us a new one. :) Hooray! Our old van was getting to the point, with 130,000 miles on it, that we thought we either needed to sell it and make some money off it, or keep it until it dies forever. So we decided to put it on KSL (we love ksl) and see what happened. It was up for a week and then it was gone! So last week we looked around a little and decided to go with another van. Tyler kind of wanted something 4 wheel drive, but I just couldn't part with all the space and roominess the van has. As a mom driving kids around, you need that space. So we got us a 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan. I love it. Although my love for it might deminish a bit when that first payment comes due! Anyway, we are happy with it! Other than that and the fact that we went on two dates over the weekend! Nothing much else has changed.

HAPPY 3RD BIRTHDAY LAURYN!! LOVE YOU!
Lauryn's birthday was last wednesday and I think she had a great day. I decorated the house with Happy Birthday signs and ballons and when she woke up that morning, she had seen a balloon down the stairs and she came in my room and said, "Mom I want you to come downstairs with me, I see something green." So I got up and we went down and she was excited to see all the balloons. I think Jordan was just as excited all day about her birthday as she was. He couldn't stop talking about it. I decided to make her waffles for dinner and then we had family come over for cake and ice cream.
I have to thank Lindsey for giving me ideas for her birthday cake, I think it turned out great and she LOVED it!!
Her Dora cake. She liked that it had a waterfall.
Here she is blowing out the candles.
Me and my sweet little girl.:)
opening her chest of princess dress ups. She was excited about these, as was her cousin Leah!
She also got some ballet clothes for playing in.
She immediately had to get a princess dress on.
Beautiful princesses Lauryn and Leah!
Thursday I let her invite a few friends over to have lunch and play. They had a fun time.
Here are all the girls: Emma, Holly, Maddie, Leah, Lauryn, and Hallie.
We had cupcakes and all the kids basically liked all the frosting off the top and were done and took off to go play. All that is except for my Lauryn, she had to get every last bite, or should I say crumb!
Lauryn, thank you for being such a special part of our family. You are such a joy to have around. I can't believe you are growing up so fast. We love you so much!! Happy Birthday!!

Lauryn's new haircut!
Yesterday I took Lauryn to a friend in my ward and had her hair cut. It turned out so stinking cute! I think it made her hair look so much healthier and thicker. I love it. Here are a few photos...
This was yesterday just after it was cut. We decided to try flipping it up, she didn't really want to get her picture taken and all I had was my phone, but she looks cute.
And this was just before we left to go to church, she was in more of a picture taking mood here and wanted to pose :)I love how it looks curled under too. I think it was a good change for her.

Warning.... Multiple Posts ahead!!!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! I can't believe the year has come and gone. 2008 was a pretty good year and I hope for even better things for 2009. We had a fun new years eve. We spent most of the night (until the kids were all done) at Salem Hills High School. Thanks to Danielle who had the IN for us! It was really fun, the kids loved it because the could run around throw and kick balls and get all their energy out. We played some volleyball and basketball and ate some treats. Here are a few pictures from that night. My little monkey Lauryn trying to climb the pole, or maybe she was pole dancing, I don't know. :)
Run Run Run!!!
A little basketball action, who's that hottie in the green shirt!
Our star volleyball team in action.
This cute little pouty face is Emily's cute little girl.
The husbands tried to give us a run for our money, but we still dominated!:)
And here are most of the girls, those that would get in the picture anyway, (Danielle and Devrie!)Thanks for a fun night girls!!

Snow fun and More...
The day after Christmas we brought my parents four wheeler up to our house and hooked sleds and tubes to it and pulled the kids around the neighborhood with some friends in the ward. The kids had so much fun, and I must say so did I! After all the fun in the snow we went back to our friends the Beck's house and had hot chocolate and let the kids play while we played a game of apples to apples. It was so nice to just hang out and relax and not worry about things that needed to get done. The kids loved riding in the sleds.
This past Monday Tyler needed to go down to St. George and stay overnight for work, so we decided to drive down too and stay with him. We headed down to St. George Monday afternoon, went and got some dinner that wasn't that great at Chuck a Rama. And then went back to the Motel and took the kids to the swimming pool. They were both pretty nervous about the water when we got in, Jordan has always been scared when it comes to water. But after a little while they loosened up and Jordan thought it was pretty cool that he could touch where it was only 3 ft. deep. They both liked the hot tub too, as did Tyler and I. We got up the next morning, Tyler left to do work stuff and the kids played on the little playground at the motel for a little bit then we got some breakfast and went to a few stores, got some lunch and started back for home. Jordan really wanted to stay another night and Lauryn kept saying, "but we didn't get to eat at that house we stayed at, I wanted to eat there." Maybe we'll have to do it again when it's not such a quick down and back trip. But it was nice to get away.
On the way back we stopped in Beaver and got the kids picture on the big rocking chair. They thought that was cool.

Merry Christmas!!!
Well, like most of you ALL these pictures are more for my benefit, so feel free to take a glance or scroll on by.
CHRISTMAS EVE/ MY BIRTHDAY.....
We had a great Christmas Eve and I had a great birthday. It started off a little rocky, Lauryn threw up that morning, but took a good long nap and was fine from then on. Tyler and the kids got me a new ipod for my birthday, very exciting. Tyler took the boys down to my parents to go play in the snow with their cousins. Lauryn and I headed down a little later. We had a yummy dinner, lots of yummy snacks, and my favorite ice cream birthday cake. :)
As tradition has it, we all got to open our Christmas pajamas from my mom.The kids were excited to get to open a present.
Cute lauryn waiting to open.
Kade, Joshua and Ben.
And here they all are, minus little cooper who was either eating or asleep I can't remember. But don't they all look so cute!!
My three kiddos looking very Christmasy.
CHRISTMAS DAY.....
The kids didn't all get up until about 8:30, so that was a nice Christmas present for us! And again as tradition has it, DAD is always the one you are pulling out of bed to go down. I remember that's how it was when I was a kid too!Waiting at the top of the stairs....
Excited to see that Santa did in fact make it here!
Lauryn would open something and be content to go play with that for awhile, especially the new babies that she got along with binkies and bottles for them.
Jordan checking out some new walkie talkies.
Here is Jordan with the bow and arrow that he kept asking santa for. Good old dollar store and wouldn't you know it since it broke before the day was half over. (it accidentally got stepped on)
Lauryn got a little fairy dress up and HAD to put in on right away!
The kids all got a remote control car that can drive on the walls! They were pretty excited. Santa was smart and brought one for each of them so there was no fighting. :)
And mom was surprised and got a new Bosch mixer!! Homemade bread here I come!
After we finished up at our house we went down and had some breakfast and grandma and grandpa Harwood's house.Lauryn saying nothing other than "cheese"
and Jordan and Kade with their new sweatshirts.Don't know what that sad face is all about!?
Broke out the rockband that grandma and grandpa got for christmas.
Don't we make cute little betty crockers? My mom made all of us girls these cute aprons! And a cute matching one for Lauryn. She didn't want her picture taken.
Then we headed up to visit Grandma T!!
Lauryn and Jordan got hula hoops.Jordy got a new light saber.
And Kade got the game perfection.
We had such a wonderful Christmas. It was great to spend time with family.
