Snow fun and More...

The day after Christmas we brought my parents four wheeler up to our house and hooked sleds and tubes to it and pulled the kids around the neighborhood with some friends in the ward. The kids had so much fun, and I must say so did I! After all the fun in the snow we went back to our friends the Beck's house and had hot chocolate and let the kids play while we played a game of apples to apples. It was so nice to just hang out and relax and not worry about things that needed to get done.

This past Monday Tyler needed to go down to St. George and stay overnight for work, so we decided to drive down too and stay with him. We headed down to St. George Monday afternoon, went and got some dinner that wasn't that great at Chuck a Rama. And then went back to the Motel and took the kids to the swimming pool. They were both pretty nervous about the water when we got in, Jordan has always been scared when it comes to water. But after a little while they loosened up and Jordan thought it was pretty cool that he could touch where it was only 3 ft. deep. They both liked the hot tub too, as did Tyler and I. We got up the next morning, Tyler left to do work stuff and the kids played on the little playground at the motel for a little bit then we got some breakfast and went to a few stores, got some lunch and started back for home. Jordan really wanted to stay another night and Lauryn kept saying, "but we didn't get to eat at that house we stayed at, I wanted to eat there." Maybe we'll have to do it again when it's not such a quick down and back trip. But it was nice to get away.

On the way back we stopped in Beaver and got the kids picture on the big rocking chair. They thought that was cool.
