Demolition Derby

We took the fam to the Demolition Derby at the Utah County Fair a couple of weeks ago and we had so much fun. We had never been to one, so it was a fun thing to do as a family. Everyone loved it, even Lauryn. Kade was in heaven as you can see by the grin on his face in the first picture. My sister's family came also, and luckily she brought her camera, so I could get some pics. Unfortunately they left early and missed the best picture we could have gotten. Durning the "powder puff" competition, one of the girls hit a car so hard on the side that it flipped it over and her car landed on top of it. Amazingly the girl in the car that was on it's top got out once the fireman and other rescuers were able to flip the car back over and she wasn't even hurt. I don't know how she managed, but we were all glad she did. It was a long, but fun night and the kids still talk about the cars crashing into each other. Kade loving every second.

Lauryn cheering for the cars as they crash!

CRUNCH!

This guy went right over the barrier.

Lauryn with her cute little face got this girl that was behind us to share some popcorn with her, but as you can see pretty soon it became Lauryn's popcorn that she was sharing with the girl!

Hallie did the same thing with the popcorn at the rodeo on the 24th. I thought it was pretty funny!
